Married to Harold since 1996 and has 2 sons, Jacksen and Jared, and a daughter, Corey. 

Kristi likes: Traveling, going to the beach, medieval history, and riding her horses and her Harley.

Who We Are

 In 2005 Jodi and Kristi met head-on!  God had positioned them at the right place, in His perfect time!  Although they had known eachother since high school, the only common threads they had were God, church, and singing.  Jodi previously had been a part of gospel groups, whereas Kristi only sang solo.  They were asked to lead the first Praise and Worship team at their church and graciously took the job. God was moving!    

 They recorded their cover album, "You've Got A Friend" in 2006 and "Jesus Lives Here" in 2009

   The thought of a duet was a little nerve racking, but even worse, two women?   Much in prayer, Jodi and Kristi waited for God to give them the direction of their next step.   He revealed that He had always had a plan, it was just up to them to see it through. 

 May 2012, Simply JK  released a third album, "Thank God I'm A Country Girl"    Check back soon to hear clips.

Since then, Simply JK has encountered and overcome many obstacles, cried  numerous tears, and been persistent on their mission to share the Good News of Jesus through music.  God has opened so many doors and they have humbly accepted the invitations.  They have had the incredible honor of sharing worship services with well known gospel groups such as Karen Peck and New River,  The Hoppers, The Freemans, Crabb Revival, and Gold City, along with some exceptionally talented people who God is using in music ministries. 

Jodi and Kristi give all glory to God for the wonderful gift He has bestowed upon them.  By way of singing His praises, they are eager to win hearts and lives to the Most High.  Children, youth, and young adults are the people God has laid on their hearts to minister to. The future of our society and the church rely on the ministers of God's Word.  Jodi and Kristi feel music is an important part of life and that God intends it to be used for His pleasure, by drawing believers closer to Him and speaking to the hearts of non- believers through a sound that is appealing to them.  God knows exactly what to do and how to do it!  Simply JK has a  progressive  "southern gospel" sound.  Go to the MUSIC page and take a listen.

Jodi and Kristi love and honor the One and Only True God, Jehovah. They are so greatful for the ministry He has called them to, but most of all thankful that he loved us so much He sent Jesus to all of us, so we can live with Him eternally.
